The Chicago area has a a vibrant and rich ethnic heritage from all around the world. Many of the neighborhoods have changed throughout the years with each different group. It's only natural that brings with it museums to preserve and share that rich history and culture. When I started compiling this list I realized that there are so many on this list that I just haven't gotten the opportunity to visit yet!
This is a complete (I'm hoping!) list of all the ethnic museums in the Chicagoland area. I highly recommend leaving your museum comfort zone and checking out some of these wonderful institutions.
