Every year for Christmas I go a little nuts and make a bunch of treats for the the guys in my husband's band, 'Stache. This year though I think I'm going a little different! I know the horror right? Here I pinned so many fun recipes to try out for them this year too. Well maybe they'll get really spoiled this year haha.
Here are some of my favorites!
I tried these guys last year and they ended up more of a neon green color and not quite how I remember them tasting. Maybe having a recipe is a good thing!
I love stuff that is super easy but looks awesome. Melt chocolate, pour in spoon, go crazy with sprinkles ... easy peasy!
Thanks to many
weddings over the past couple of years I've come to enjoy the whole white chocolate covered oreo phenomena. Again an easy recipe but looks fabulous.
So I'm noticing a trend I've got going ... something dipped/coated in melted chocolate haha. You can't go wrong with chocolate covered pretzels. mmmmmm. White chocolate covered is my favorite.
And last but not least I feel the need to pay homage to the lovely holiday before Christmas ... Thanksgiving. One must not simply go from Halloween to Christmas. I think if you're hosting Thanksgiving this year you should try this one. Everyone would love it I'm sure : )
Love all of these! Me and my mom make the corn flake wreaths every year. If you use green food coloring, it will come out a much, much lighter color than that. You'd need a lot to make it that dark, and then it just tastes funny. The trick is (maybe the recipe says this, I didn't look) to use a soft gel paste, not liquid coloring. The gel pastes are much more concentrated!
